Our Story

BirthRite was born in stillness. After committing to 30 minutes of daily meditation each morning, I sat on the seventh day, 210 minutes deep, when I clearly heard the words: “Shea Butter.” I followed the call and bought 55 pounds of it. Blended with hemp-derived CBD, this became our first creation: SheaBD.

We launched with heart—and the product was potent—but when one of our mentors, lovingly known as Sharkman, saw it in the Side Kitchen, he offered a reflection that shifted everything:

"SheaBD has too much of a learning curve. It'll take a long time to explain it to a wider audience."

He was right. That moment gave us permission to slow down and go deeper.

We took a full year to return to the roots—refining our recipes, releasing the limitation of sheaBD, and getting clear on the why behind what we were offering. With the thoughtful guidance of our mentor Michelle, we found the name that felt true: BirthRite.

BirthRite is a soul offering—a collection of earth-rooted, heart-led wellness tools made with intention and care.

We believe that self-care, joy, and freedom are our birthright, and everything we create is here to help you come home to that truth.

Hi, I’m Kamoy—the hands, heart, and creative spirit behind BirthRite.

I’m a Mama of two, a Chef, an Artist, a Reiki Level II Practitioner, and a Self-Care Formulator. I’m deeply passionate about plant medicine and its power to heal, harmonize, and reconnect us to our inner knowing.

Each offering is crafted in ceremony, with reverence for the land, our bodies, and the ancestral wisdom that lives within us.
